Dr. Janet Yu is extremely knowledgeable on a myriad of health issues. I have never had acupuncture treatments before and after two treatments, my allergies were so much so much better! She also treated my frozen shoulders and I’m happy to say I’m ready for golf season. My range of motion is so much better and improved after two treatments.
I have been going to Dr. Janek for several treatments now, and my posture and breathing has improved 100%. I had a computer “stoop” as my job involves mostly looking at the computer and didn’t even realize I was doing so much harm to my body. I feel so much better since I started chiropractic treatments with Dr. Janek.

Allan takes the time to find the root of the problem and address the issue vs. treating the symptom with only temporary relief. He carefully explains what techniques he uses to treat the specific issue and why. He then follows up with post-treatment suggestions that you can do on your own so you can continue living pain-free.
Allan is professional, knowledgeable in MFR, and is very thorough in treating his patients. In addition, his care and skill in working scar tissue have been extremely beneficial to my treatment. I have already recommended him to many friends, family, and colleagues.
I have been a regular patient of Dr. Janet Yu for about 6 years. I had tried massage therapy for 2 years and endured pain in my neck for 15 years from a car accident. I’d met Dr. John Janek and was impressed about how knowledgeable he was so when I had a problem with an odd “click” in my hand I asked him if he would be able to fix it. He had me come in for an assessment and decided laser treatment was the way to go. After only a few laser treatments it was gone! What a relief as a graphic designer to be able to use my hand normally with no discomfort! I would recommend Dr. John and the rest of the Coquitlam Integrated Health team highly; they are very knowledgeable, use advanced techniques and equipment and have many techniques, strengths and treatment options available.

14 years ago a friend took me to see Janet after I had a serious lung condition. Janet treated me over the course of several months and I have now healed 100% with no complications. I now see her for all of my back and neck problems. I tore my rotator cuff a short time ago and she has helped me strengthen my shoulder. I am now back to doing physical work which my job requires. I feel she really cares for me as a person and my health issues. From massage, herbal teas, acupressure, acupuncture, cupping and medical advice. Dr. John has been providing chiropractic services for both my husband and myself for some time.
